As the economy continues its spectacular belly flop, Hubs HQ is feeling a peculiar wave of nineties nostalgia. What a difference a decade makes? Exactly ten years ago today Miss Britney Jean Spears was number one with her debut (and highest selling) single ‘Baby One More Time’. Just like the economy, Britney herself has weathered some major turbulence, even threatening to cruelly wash up on the murky pop cultural shores like so many strange sea creatures.
While it’s too early to predict what will happen to Brit, let’s take a moment to look back when times – and indeed Britney herself – seemed just a little innocent. Take me back!
